Remotely sensed ocean surface temperature observations, mostly derived from data collected by sensors aboard satellites, provide quasi-synoptic coverage of the region. The Sea Surface Temperature movie product here presented depicts data for the last 10 days processed at NOAA/AOML and released through NOAA's CoastWatch Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico node.
